Hunter Office Furniture delivers to businesses and home offices across Australia, with same-day order processing and speedy dispatch on many stocked items. Whether you're ordering a single chair or fitting out an entire office, we'll get your furniture to you safely and on time.

Delivery Timeframes

We aim to dispatch stocked items as quickly as possible. The following is a general guide based on product type and destination.

Metro areas (Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Perth, Adelaide):

  • Fast-moving stocked items: 3 to 7 business days
  • Larger furniture and bulky freight: 5 to 12 business days
  • Custom furniture or stock transferred from another location: 4+ weeks

Regional Australia:

We service regional areas across Australia through our warehouse and logistics partner network.

Delivery to NSW regional areas, including Newcastle, the Central Coast, the Hunter Valley and surrounds, is often comparable to metro timeframes. For further regional and interstate locations, allow 1 to 2 weeks or more depending on the freight lane and product location.

The following areas may qualify for metro-style shipping rates on selected items: Wollongong, Canberra, Gold Coast, Sunshine Coast and Geelong.

All timeframes are estimates and may vary based on product availability, supplier location and freight conditions.

Delivery Pricing

Hunter Valley and Central Coast (ground floor delivery):

Flat Rate $55 excluding GST.For all other locations, delivery pricing is calculated based on:

  • Delivery location and postcode
  • Product type, size and weight
  • Access requirements at the delivery address

Additional charges may apply for deliveries involving stairs, upper floors, site inductions or restricted access areas. These will be communicated clearly before your order is confirmed.

Please note:

Most products ship nationwide, however certain supplier brands and selected bulky or oversized items cannot be delivered to all areas. Some brands are not available for delivery to Western Australia and South Australia. If you have a question about delivery availability to your location, contact us before ordering and we will confirm.

Professional Installation

Our professional installation service takes care of everything once your furniture arrives. Our team will assemble and set up your furniture on-site and remove all packaging and rubbish, so your space is ready to use straight away.

Installation is available across Australia and is priced per order based on the size of the delivery, the number of items and the access requirements at your location.

Project Management for Large Fitouts

For complete office fitouts, we offer a full project management service covering design, delivery and installation. Our team will work with you from initial design and space planning through to final installation, coordinating every stage of the project so you don't have to.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do you deliver Australia wide?

Yes. Most products are available for delivery to all states and territories across Australia. A small number of supplier brands and selected bulky items cannot be delivered to Western Australia or South Australia. Contact us to confirm availability to your location.

How long does delivery take?

For stocked items, fast-moving products typically arrive within 3 to 7 business days to metro areas. Larger or bulky items may take 5 to 12 business days. Custom furniture generally takes 4+ weeks from quote acceptance. Regional delivery timeframes vary depending on location and freight lane.

How much does delivery cost?

Delivery to the Hunter Valley and Central Coast is a flat rate of $55 excluding GST for ground floor delivery. For all other locations, delivery is quoted based on your postcode, product type and access requirements. Additional charges apply for stairs, upper floors or restricted access sites.

Can I collect my order?

Yes. Click and collect is available from our Beresfield NSW showroom. Contact us to arrange a collection time after your order is placed.

Is installation available?

Yes. Professional assembly and installation is available Australia wide, charged per order based on the size and complexity of your delivery. Our team will assemble your furniture on-site and remove all packaging. Contact us for an installation quote.

Do you offer installation for large office fitouts?

Yes. For large-scale fitouts we offer a complete project management service including design, delivery and installation. Contact our team to discuss your project.

What if my delivery address has stairs or difficult access?

Additional charges may apply for deliveries to upper floors, sites requiring inductions or locations with restricted access. Let us know your access requirements when requesting a quote and we will factor these in.
